I feel sorry for you that all the decisions you make, seem to be out of some other people's head. Is your brain seriously that puny that you have to let other people's opinions affect your judgement? Who cares what other people think as long as you yourself know what you want? In the end when you heed their advice and down the road you realise that that's not exactly what you want, who are you gonna pin the blame onto?
