Clear and hydrated skin; isn't that the dream? For me at least, I'd like to think yes that's the dream complexion to have! As my disclaimer shows, every #selfie is in this is #nofilter #nomakeup (too much IG lingo going on). Apart from my horrid eye circles (I'm really working on it :(), I'd like to think my complexion has actually improved a great deal! :D It's not so dry and flaky, not so dull anymore! :D

PRAY TELL; WHAT DOES IT DO:

Not only does it instantly hydrates skin and helps preserve its optimum moisture balance, it also replenishes and locks-in moisture for complete hydration. While hydrating your skin, it does not feel irritated due to it unique formula that's skin pH balanced and free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant!

After prolonged use, what you get is soft and supple skin! :D:D:D YAYYYYY~~~

 There are a few ways to use this multitasking product. I use it as a toner; a few drops on my palms and pat it all over my face. Or it can be used as a hydrating everyday mask; soak a cotton pad with the lotion, peel off the single layers of the cotton pad and plaster it all over my face. Leave on for at least 30 minutes and voila~ Instantly refreshed face :D

I love how it gives my face a glow :3 Makes me look so healthy :D

REVIEW: BOTTOMSLIM

WASSSSSUPPPPP!!! As promised, I am back with a review of not a beauty product, but beauty service! :D

Let's talk about body image and flaws. I am the sort of person who focus way too much on my flaws. And I believe most girls out there are the same. 

For me, I always had a problem with my thighs and my lower abdomen. Even when I was participating actively in water sports during Polytechnic years, I always thought my thighs could be slimmer and no matter how many crunches I do, my lower abdomen is just a cluster of stubborn fats. And the problem got even harder to solve when I started working full time. I couldn't afford to exercise regularly due to work, or I'm just too tired after work to drag myself to the gym or even to run. It didn't help that all I did when I was bored was...

Needless to say, my fat thighs became fatter and my tummy just got warped, threw a party and decided to be the United Nations. 

So this is me, just last year, in what I deem as a super unflattering angle. My friends tell me my thighs look muscular but seriously I beg to differ. I think they look horridly chunky :( THEY HAS GOTS TO GO! 

So I made my way down to BottomSlim's City Square outlet, really excited for what they can do for me :D Got to love the outlet at City Square, really quiet and peaceful!

Walked in and was served a warm cup of tea. Plus points for service! There's nothing quite as calming as having a cup of tea, yes? :D

While waiting in the Consultation Room for my therapist, spotted these testimonials by customers/clients of BottomSlim. Sounds promising already!! :D

And here's a picture of my thighs in their most unflattering angle EVER. PRESSED FLAT AGAINST THE CHAIR. SERIOUSLY ARGH. 

I was listening super attentively throughout the entire consultation. I never knew there were so many factors that contributed to the accumulation of fats (or toxins) in our body and why only at certain areas!!! I always thought fat means fat. Period. No other explanation or whatsoever. And I also always thought exercise is the key to everything! But I learnt that exercise is not spot treatment. That means when you exercise, you can't just say "oh I want slimmer thighs" and when you do it, you WILL get slimmer thighs. Sometimes it comes in a package and as a result of over-exercise, you get slim thighs AND muscular calves :OOO THEN WHATS THE POINT?! I GET SLIM THIGHS BUT MUSCULAR CALVES AM I JUST TRANSFERRING BULKINESS HERE!? -.-

I was so intrigued by all these new information I had to take it down for y'all to see! Mind blowing whoaaaaaaaa~~~ Worse to me is cellulite!! They are those ugly dimples/layers in your skin, omnipresent in your thighs especially (HAHAHAHA I KNOW WHO HAS THIS, EH MAYBE YOU SHOULD COME TO BOTTOMSLIM TOO). Apparently we all have it, it's only a case of severity. THANK GOD/ALLAH/GUANYINMA my therapist said mine is just a case of toxin buildup~ PHEWWWWW. 

So after a thorough lower body analysis, my therapist decided on the following 2 treatments for me! :D

VT-09: which is the treatment to target my toxin-filled thighs, and to lift my (according to my therapist) already-perky butt hehehhehehehehehe :P 

Sonic Slim US: which is the treatment for my abdominal area. According to my therapist, I have a small waist which is a good thing, but my abdominal area looks shapeless because of all the toxins buildup :( 

Where do all these toxins come from? ALL YOUR MACDONALDS LAAAA ALL YOUR OLD CHANG KEE, ALL YOUR MAGGEE MEE. So yes, fried food, or food high in sodium content, STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

I was led to my lovely treatment room to change into the kimono and then to take my measurements. 

They had this really cool weighing machine that could tell you more than just your weight! After stepping on the machine, I found out that:

• My body fat percentage is 25.2%, which is typical/average
• My BMI is 19.5 :D Healthy uh~
• My body age is 21!  (SO LUCKY I MISTREAT MY BODY LIKE MAD BUT IT'S ALL GOOD)

The machine also had other figures and measurements, too mind boggling! If you were to go down, can ask your therapist more about them! :D

Now let's go straight to the treatment alright? TYPICALLY, most bloggers wouldn't do this. THEY WON'T SHOW YOU PICTURES OF THEIR NAKED BUTT. BUT I HAVE TO. I FEEL COMPELLED TO. I NEED TO BECAUSE PICTURES DON'T LIE. WHEN I SAW THE EFFECT I WAS LIKE..

TOTALLY NOT KIDDING. 

I censored everything else because obviously I am not going to show you my bare naked butt. PFFT. And I purposely left my tattoo uncensored to prove that YES THAT'S MY BUTT LINE YOU'RE SEEING THERE. 

 AND THIS IS AFTER. THE TREATMENT WAS DONE ON THE LEFT SIDE FIRST. HOLY SHIT RIGHT?! YOU CAN OBVIOUSLY TELL MY LEFT BUTT CHEEK JUST WENT UP?! :O In just one session!? HOW CAN THIS BEEEEEEE????! :O

(these pictures are totally unphotoshopped. Only edit done was mosaic-ed and blurred because I know there are tons of sexual pervs prowling the web but I really had to post the pictures because I can wax lyrical about the treatment but its all just words, yes? So I hope any sexual pervs out there, please do whatever you want, just don't ask me kinky questions on ask.fm or send me weird ass emails; thanks.)

And throughout the treatment, my face was just like this. Painful? Honestly, the starting was. And it differs from individual to individual. I have a pretty high threshold for pain, but maybe my thighs just had too much toxins in them, so no choice, got to endure a little discomfort for beautiful legs :D But you get used to the discomfort after a while, so much so that once we were well into the treatment, I kind of wanted to fall asleep. zzz Too damn comfortable!

After VT-09, we then went on to Sonic Slim US! This treatment also super shiok!! The gel they used during the treatment was super minty, I felt like my tummy was on fireeeee!! But in a good way, damn shiok!! If you're ticklish like me, you're gonna spend a good 3 minutes trying to get used to the treatment, because I was giggling like mad! :D I got to say the therapist attending to me was really sweet and she shared a lot of information with me about stomach health and how food intake actually affects your body. It's from moments like these that you can tell how dedicated the staff are in what they're doing. Very impressed indeed!

Personal Review

I really enjoyed my treatments there. To me, service is king. And the service rendered by the staff at BottomSlim City Square outlet is just impeccable! Never once did I feel uncomfortable, and during the treatment, the therapists always checked to see if I was okay or if the treatments were too painful. Treatment-wise, I am sure the pictures speak for me. THE RESULTS ARE JUST WHOA.

Review: Hada Labo Perfect Gel

As everyone knows, I've been really doing all sorts of things that can be done for nicer skin. When I was younger, all I knew was make up will make me prettier. So I just cake on make up thinking that's gonna make me prettier. I guess as we grow older, we realise that nothing looks better than really nice smooth healthy skin and a smile. :D Unfortunately, younger (past tense) me did a real, for a lack of a better word, shitty job of taking care of my skin. It's so cute, they sent it along with this panda eyemask that feels really soft and comfy when put on!

Pretty hair ^^

Didn't take any pictures at the place itself cause I'm not so buay paiseh and I'm not paid to blog for them. But good things must share, no?

In case everyone's like me, skeptical about what our dear bloggers are advertising for.. Essensual Bugis' Japanese Spa Treatment is tried and tested by yours truly.

Its really good! My hair is unbelievably manageable right now, smooth and tangle free!! Mad lovin' my hair right now. So picture spam of my face. Not bad for the pictures! Cause of makeup and good hair. I actually filmed a make up tutorial.. but I look so fucking chui inside I'm seriously SERIOUSLY considering uploading it at all. My skin's been breaking out and I haven't been to Beauti Instinct for close to 2 weeks. /weeps.

Oh yes, and my hair was dyed at Salon Vim 313. Please take note. :D
